I picked this up last month at ollies, I had never seen this kit before. When I first started this kit it was going to be the basic military version, then I seen the "surrey" version on the box and started looking versions up, when I started doing this version I had no idea what direction I was going with it, then found the set of rims I had for a very long time and never had nothing to put them on and thought they would look good on this version of the kit, and the dual carb option was nice but had to add velocity stacks to them and make a hole in the hood, and the body filler from the front bumper to the grill was added too. I have to say this kit has alot of detail to it, and the military version has alot of detailed parts, guns, fuel can, gurney, and the cutout Godzilla backdrop is pretty cool too. I was pretty impressed with this kit, glad I picked up 2 of them.

Good color combination and detailing, nice build!

I have a different version of this kit. I built mine as a battlefield ambulance.

Thanks David. I like the detail on your build especially the windshield wipers wipes on the windshield.

Thanks Dennis. I just cut the wiper paths from masking tape and gave the windshield a light airbrushing of Tamiya Flat Earth.

Neat build, the wheels shouldn’t work but strangely do !
I built mine a a Surrey gala including 2wd conversion, there are a surprising number of differences to the military version that I was unaware of prior to the build.

Thanks Stuart. I have to agree about the wheels, I had them lying around for years and never thought I would use them but for some strange reason I thought they went good on this kit. Thats a very nice build you have there as well, that 2 tone looks great as well as those white walls.
