Tony Coomer Posted March 12, 2024 Posted March 12, 2024 (edited) Hey everyone. I started out with a 22 junior dragster kit and a resin skeeter 34 sedan casted by a late friend. The body was narrowed and chopped a few inches. The whole effect I was going for that someone built a modern competition coup and finding the ol skeeter stock car body in a field and chopped it up to fit on the dragster chassis. My biggest regret on this was around the top of the doors I was going for the effect somebody grinding the paint away and welding it, I should have just painted it. The effect looks great in Person but under the lights in the picture it just looks like jumbled mess, learn something new for the next build. Edited March 12, 2024 by Tony Coomer 4
Speedpro Posted March 13, 2024 Posted March 13, 2024 Cool! That body looks good from here. As a matter of fact, everything looks good. Nice work!
M W Elky Posted March 13, 2024 Posted March 13, 2024 That’s one killer build the unfinished welds , and the weathering look fantastic. You really captured the look. That’s a great idea and the just right mix of parts
Rattlecan Dan Posted March 13, 2024 Posted March 13, 2024 Wow. That's one used and abused looking hot rod right there. Looks like deployed parachute might rip it apart. Crazy nice build though. 1
Tony Coomer Posted March 14, 2024 Author Posted March 14, 2024 Thanks for the great comments everyone…
FoMoCo66 Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 "Got more class than a little duece coupe" Competition Coupe, The Astronauts. This is really cool. I kind of like the bare metal look around the window. 1
