Nice project Bob, looking forward to the build.   Will gluing the top on interfere with the interior being built?

Thanks Carl.  I don't think so.  There is no interior tub to speak off.  The floor pan glues strainght to the chassis and the two door panels just slide right into place.

I got a little bench time in this morning and got the suspension in a good place I hope.  The rear axle housing is now up touching the chassis.  Can't go any further.  I cut the center section out of the leaf spring on the front axle and have it where I want it.

The door panels should slide right into place on the supplied notches.  I may tack glue the dash to both door panels and see if I can slide that into the body as one unit.

Never built the Revell version! Thought it might be like Revells 34 or ZZ topp coup..

Not sure Carl.  Never had that kit.

I think I have the suspension where it acceptable to me.  Everything is not glued into place.  I used the kit wheels & tires for the mock-up but I gotta tell ya, they don't look to bad.  Old school Torque Thrust I believe.  I was going to put the Jay's wheels & tires on this build but not I'm second guessing it.  What you fellows think?

The kit wheels look good, but I like the Jay's wheels and tires. They will look really good especially with the rotors and calipers detail painted.

I hear ya James.  Might save the stock wheels & tires for the AMT 36 5-window down the road.

Looking very good Bob! I am partial to the Torque Thrusts, but the Jay's wheels would look good too. (I'm a lot of help, aren't I? ?)

Thanks man.  Well, I guess you got your two cents worth in.  I really kinda like both as well.

I like those massive disc brakes, and the Jay's wheels have a sort of Art Deco look which suits an Art Deco car.

I agree with ya Paul.

I like both sets of wheels, but maybe it's just me, I don't want to build a model using the stuff that came with it, LOL.

I hear ya man.  I don't mind using wheels & tires that come with the kit if they are good.  These are Torque Thrust wheels so I like the old school stuff and they are nice.

I just know you'll turn this into some kind of gorgeous eye popper hot rod. I once saw a strictly stock 36 on the street that I think was a kind of midnight blue with stock spoke wheels, and it was beautiful. Good luck with your new venture.

Much obliged man.  Yup, the 35, 36, and 37 Ford Coupe are some of my favorite body styles.
