Red Squadron from Star Wars Ep 4

Been a long time since I started this project to model all 6 screen shown X-Wings in the Original movie.  These are my interpretations based on the original release and the enhanced released versions.

Great job on the X-wings. Beautiful paint job. I've always like the X-wing and the millennium falcon of course. You certainly captured the look of the studio models.

Those look great!  Been a big fan since the first movie blew my 14 year old mind on it's release.  Even built an Estes (I think) model rocket version as a teen.

Thanks both of you.  X-wings are my second favorite SF ship and number one fighter. 

First place for me is the Eagle Transporter from Space:1999.  It just looks like it would work having been in inspired by the lunar lander.  Got a couple of them in the stash to (hopefully) get to later this year.

Work got in the way and it took a very long time to get the final T-65 X-Wing done.  This one is known as Blue 12 on the photos released by ILM that were used as film tests.  Red 12/Blue 12

Really well done! I'd love to do a complete Red Squadron one day, but for the moment I'll have to be happy with just Red 5.
