Bronzekeg
rear end has been raised a strong 1/8 inch to get it off the frame. the rear shocks needed lengthened also. I don't have pictures but the front axle assembly was built up out of the box. the drum brakes are also out of the box. I'll put the exhaust tips on after the body has been mounted.
Bronzekeg
a quick mock-up with the body in place shows that out of the box the car sits level. raising the rear gave me the rake I was looking for. that is not the wheel and tire combo that it is going to get. the keystone mags and whitewalls are too bright and take your focus away from the engine and body. for my taste anyway.

Bronzekeg
I finally decided on the wheel tire combo. the fronts are from the 29 roadster kit and the rears spares box and parts pack. 2

David G.
The wheels, stance and details are all fabulous Ken! I wasn't sure I agreed with your choice not to use the whitewall slicks but seeing the car with the blackwalls, I think you made the right call. David G.
