M W Elky Posted April 18, 2024 Posted April 18, 2024 (edited) I have been waiting to build this one for quite awhile now .By building a bunch of altered’s I became reinspired to get it done. For the main kit I used The iconic AMT double T kit most of the HEMI came out of the double dragster kit , the headers are made from solder and aluminum tubing. I think they really make the build. I used the wheels out the Revell Ms Deal kit this kit also gave up it’s front wish bones which I used for the ladder bars the slicks are AMT . I made the pick up box from balsa wood. The hydro transmission , and front spring and axle are left over parts from the Atlantis Fiat . The rear housing along with the steering wheel is from the AMT 56 Ford . I made the fuel tank mount from a paper clip , and the injector scoop was a leftover part from the AMT 40 Willy’s kit. I sprayed it with Testors fiery orange with wet look clear. No decals exist for this so I did the lettering by hand. I think it’s a pretty good representation these street roadsters are a whole lotta fun to create , and right now they’re are a whole bunch of parts available to bush them together. Until next time thanks for looking ?, Mike Edited April 18, 2024 by M W Elky Added wording 8
