And yes, James May's Toy Stories actually had two episodes all about model trains. Season 1 had an episode that did not end how he wanted it to. The mission failed. So in season 2, he redesigned the track and tried again. This time, with much more success.

Personally, I thought the Airfix Spitfire episode was the best one.

There are other celebrities who are model railroaders.  To bring up couple which come to mind are:

Rod Steward - he has a large H0 layout at his home. It was featured in the Model Railroader magazine some years back.

Sally Jessy Raphael (talk show host from the '80s) used to model in N and Z scales.

Yea I mentioned Rod Stewart.His layout is amazing.But I never knew Sally Jessy Raphael had a layout.I remember her red glasses.?
