JTRACING Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Heres something i have been working on, a 1977 Jeep CJ-7, making it into a hunting jeep I cut off the rear fenders, and the winch has real steel cable in it, " i used steel fishing line leader" this is where i am so far.
Bigjeepzz Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Looks good. I like the small details you added to the build. I will be looking for the finished pics.
Matt T. Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 James, great to see you here! That Jeep is looking great so far. I love the cargo in the back, and the winch too.
JTRACING Posted October 19, 2006 Author Posted October 19, 2006 Thanks guys! Well a Hunting Jeep wouldn’t be complete with out a rifle. So I made one from aluminum tubing and a popsicle stick.
Bigjeepzz Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 Nice looking rifle, is that a Remington 700 Bolt Action??? What caliber??
BIGTRUCK Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 That looks fantastic...the little details make it all work...nice goin'
JTRACING Posted October 20, 2006 Author Posted October 20, 2006 thanks! Here is the fuel cans. i made new "leather" straps for them.
mhadman Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 i always look forward to your work..you always seem to build projects that hit on my taste in builds. i bet if there is one guy that could do an idea i have for this build,it is you.. how about a nice sized buck laid out over the hood? Love this build.
JAFFA Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 way cool, it looks amazingly realistic! i thought i was the first one who thought of birdcrap, how did ya make that anyway?
