This is another Aoshima kit gifted to me from my son. He really likes for me to build these JDM classics. These kits are really nice I just don’t understand not including an engine. Going to look for a 3D printed one I guess. Paint is Tamiya rattle can TS-93 Pure Blue while the lower is a mix of Apple-Barrel Dark Granite and black airbrushed. Unfortunately I think I got a little too heavy on the window tint. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful looking paint finish. I'm with you on the lack of an engine, especially at the price they are charging for these kits.

Looks great, and I'm in agreement about the window tint looking just right. Certainly sits nicely with your '70s Japanese car builds.

I think some Aoshima kits have an opening hood to house a battery compartment for the electic motor and/or lights which were common on older Japanese kits.

Window tint looks fine.

I cant think of a more 80s looking car than that! Love it!

Strange there's no engine  though

Thought about a small block Chevy, if only it wasn’t carbureted.
