53 Stude custom

I started out making a drag version with double wammy engine and a chop top, but the more I looked at the chop-top glass I went the custom direction. The idea was to trim and file the roof so it would fit inside the glass. I can use clear or blue , still working on other thoughts.

Wasnt that one of the model magazines cover car? That does sound familiar from awhile ago.

One feature in particular I remember was that the top was glass from a Corvette and masked off to be painted with the body- amazing workmanship! Good luck on a very promising project!

Tom Geiger posted a couple of photos of it here in 2021 of it, taken when he was at the International Model Car Museum in Salt Lake City back in 2005.
