Mark tells me you’re off on another cobra project Yes sir, I’m going to rest on the big stuff, and start a 1/24 project. Something that has less than 1000 parts count. I bought a mfh cobra from Mark. Started it and going to paint her tomorrow. I sanded and primed her in black. I’m hoping it will be finished in a month or so rather than years on the big stuff. Here is a mock up of her. 2
Brudda Posted July 13, 2024 Posted July 13, 2024 By the way how’s the P4 comming? I really love the shape of that car.

It’s sitting in its box, it’s one of those early kits that needs a lot of adjustment and massaging, my heart is into it at the moment
Chris Smith Posted July 16, 2024 Author Posted July 16, 2024 The engine is completed, it took quite a bit longer than I expected but that’s how it goes. Hopefully you’ll like it 3
Chris Smith Posted July 22, 2024 Author Posted July 22, 2024 So the wife went away, I got some good bench time in… gear box and rear suspension completed and I also got it attached to the engine. 4
Chris Smith Posted July 29, 2024 Author Posted July 29, 2024 Thanks everyone for the kind words. It is greatly appreciated! So this update consists of rear sway bar, rear radiators and oil cooler and some plumbing. 2
Pierre Rivard Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 This flat 12 & trans combo are simply gorgeous. Such level of detailing is a must at 1:12 scale and this one nails it. Bravo! 1
Bainford Posted August 2, 2024 Posted August 2, 2024 Very tidy work, Chris, and the engine is spectacular. Just a beautiful thing to look at. 1
Chris Smith Posted August 9, 2024 Author Posted August 9, 2024 Some mock up photos, I just completed the front nose and I couldn’t resist ? 4
Codi Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 Good morning Chris, Finally took a moment to stop by and check out your progress and you certainly didn't disappoint. I'm already envisioning her with the engine / rear clip installed. Gorgeous car! Cheers, Tim 1

Chris Smith Posted August 25, 2024 Author Posted August 25, 2024 It’s been a while since my last post, I have been a busy bee ? some exhaust work, engine installed and some tire work. I also put the engine cover on just because ? 1
Nacho Z Posted August 25, 2024 Posted August 25, 2024 Always a pleasure to see your work, Chris. I fell behind on this one. Glad to catch your update and have a chance to catch up. Stunning work! 1
Pierre Rivard Posted August 25, 2024 Posted August 25, 2024 So nice that the powertrain can be seen even with the cover on. 1970's F1 cars were so pretty, each one being unique relative to other. This looks like a very complex build but as always you make it look so straightforward. I love following your builds but no way I'll ever try one of these "kits for experts only" 1

I think if you took the chance and the time you would do a great job on one of these. I know most people can’t get over the cost of these, but in the long run they are more bang for the buck.
