When my son was about 10 years of age, we started building models together. This was one of the first of such efforts, with him picking the model, color scheme, doing the painting, and me helping with assembly. 20 years later I look at it and think it came out pretty darn good! Since then, my son has gone off to the world of painting Warhammer characters. It's not my cup of tea, but it is incredible the amount of detail and realism that goes into his builds. Without further ado, here is our '69 L88 in all its full splendor...

Your efforts to guide your son into a hobby are applaudable, too many kids don't get this opportunity and often end up with misguided habits. Well done Emre and thanks for sharing some of your older builds.

Cheers,

David. ??

In this day and age of instant gratification it’s refreshing to hear that youngsters are engaging in a hobby that requires patience and discipline.

Father and son project looks great. I'm impressed that you got the convertible top to fit correctly.
