Just finished this one today. The kit is great, overall, goes together well and takes a little detail to come out really nice. The decals SUCKED.  They're very thick and won't conform to surfaces or stick well even with decal setting solution. I ended up having to cut them in places to get them to conform. I did wiring and a little plumbing on the engine. The hat came with the kit, but I made a CB mike and cable for the dash. Stripped most of the chrome, the wheels were painted gold then edged with a chrome pen. Have to say, it's one of my better paint jobs.

That’s an excellent build of an iconic movie car. I’ve been thinking about getting this kit but the complexity of the decals is kind of putting me off, as you said, the decals “sucked”. Despite that, it looks as though you got them to settle nicely.??

Cool Trans Am there Brian, I almost bought this kit but thought the decals would be a nightmare to get right. You did a great job, well done.

Cheers,

David. ??
