I don't think that is the case Jim, but the new kits have been a bit thin on the ground lately. But, we modelers are a bit spoiled right now and expect a bunch of kits every month., and I suspect that in the next 6 months, we will see more kits that we want.

Round2's releases seem to come in waves. There will be 2-3 months when things look a bit slim, and then you have a couple months with 6-8 new kits all at once. So I don't let the lean months worry me. Past history has shown that the Kat's have great plans and just waiting a month (or Two) will yield good results.

So, Buy or Do Not Buy, there will be more next month.

I'm involved with a local diecast club (everything from Hot Wheels, Greenlight, M2, etc...) that holds monthly shows so can can network with other Redline collectors. Over the past year amongst the local guys there seems to be much more interest in Johnny Lightning subjects for those who collect new diecast. Perhaps if that's an small indicator of the overall market it would explain the steady releases compared to other subjects. Remember they're in for the money, and know who butters their bread. I have no issue with it as anything that fills their coffers goes to bring out some of the great kits we've seen over the past year, that's a good thing.

Agreed 128%, @stavanzer! There are many months each year where there are 5-6 I need to get, so I've learned to appreciate those few lean months.

Remembering back to most of the 90s, where 5-6 new kits/reissues were announced yearly via the catalogs, released quarterly, and always coming out in a trickle.

Now, Round 2 blasts us pretty much every month, and me personally, I love it.

Ya know...some people would suggest you take these "slow months" and actually build the stuff you bought during the "heavy months"...otherwise it comes off a little "whiny hoarder". ??

Spot-on!!! 

I'm thrilled that Round2 is finally bringing back the New Tool '57 Bel Air- and '60 Fleetside Street Machines. Sure, some features like their wheels may seem dated, but these are genuinely nice kits that can easily be modified for either a more classic or contemporary look.

Hopefully we'll see more of "Mueller-era" Street Machines like the '57 Corvette- and '67 Impala reissued in the future.

Another great Mueller and team kit was the street machine version of the '68Elky:  Mini Tubs, 90s era B&M supercharger/EFI, wide and wider low-profile rubber, etc.  Never been reissued since original production run circa 1998.  Hope to see it soon!  Cheers...TB

Me too, and I wouldn't mind another of the Street Machine '57s. They are great for building '55 Pro Street cars with very little work and they are pretty convincing too. But I have never even seen one of those '68 Elky Street Machines.

It has a deceptively mild box art. 

The engine is very nice, and the construction of the bed seems to indicate that it might be possible to combine both stock and the rod version in one box.

That is a Huge Guess on my part, however. It may not be possible. Only the Kat's at Round2 could tell us for sure.
