1hobby1 Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 I finally wrapped up the 1965 Honda RA272 from Tamiya. It’s pretty much box stock. The only additional details added were plug wires and fuel line. For the fuel line I found that some fishing line was best and then I used some clear yellow Tamiya over it. The body is painted in Tamiya TS-7 Racing White and cleared with Tamiya TS-13. Some weathering was done to show a long days work at the track. I did run into one issue with the wheels fitting into the desired hole. They just did not want to go in. I removed the factory tabs, added some micro magnets to get them lined up, and some medium glue to keep them there forever. I enjoyed doing research on this specific car, as it was the 1965 Mexican Grand Prix winner. All in all this was a very fun kit that went together well. Thank you for looking and on to the next project! 9
