Falcon Ranchero Posted July 24, 2024 Posted July 24, 2024 Pretty sure it's a '68. Another Palmer Plastics kit my dad picked up in the '90s. This kit is from 1972. Originally molded in light green, I wanted to make it similar to the box art, and so orange it became. Neat how in '72 you could get a motorized kit for $2.98. I built this a while ago, and I must say it is the most unusual kit i have; not only because the molding looks quirky, but because it's motorized and actually goes. It was funny reading the instructions because they want these 7 year old kids to get out their sautering kits and melt some wires together. Different time back then I guess. Anyway, this kit was interesting. 2
Kah puts Posted July 25, 2024 Posted July 25, 2024 Holy smokes a Palmer kit! It’s a mind blowing time warp, they have a character all their own and I like it, thanks for sharing ? 1
XYHARRY Posted July 27, 2024 Posted July 27, 2024 For an old Palmer kit it turned out quite nice, well done Nathan. Cheers, David. ??
ewetwo Posted July 27, 2024 Posted July 27, 2024 Came out great. Love the quirky Palmer kits. I have a built Corvair coupe. An unbuild 65 impala in a new perfect box. A Falcon coupe and convertible. A built Thunderbird. And some Tempest parts. 1

If it wasn’t for the kits I have, I would have never knew Palmer Plastics existed; seems it’s not everyday you come across one.
