Tinkering with grille/bumper ideas. This grille looks good, but i think it leaves a little to be desired ?. I really like the bumpers. I would like to get it lower. I think the wheels i have fit on there are too big. These will allow it to sit lower, especially in the back, and retain a reasonable steering ability.

IMHO I think the grill should be recessed a bit. I like the style of the bumpers.

I'd suggest adding some sort of bodywork surround to the grille opening to smooth it off. Like what a Mercury has to give it a more "finished" look, maybe even use parts from a Mercury. The AMT '49 Ford coupe and '50 convertible both have custom pieces that could easily be adapted for this.

Different year but you get the idea.
