David G. Posted October 22, 2024 Posted October 22, 2024 I'm interested to see where you go with this one Topher. David G.
TopherMcGinnis Posted November 9, 2024 Author Posted November 9, 2024 Tinkering with grille/bumper ideas. This grille looks good, but i think it leaves a little to be desired ?. I really like the bumpers. I would like to get it lower. I think the wheels i have fit on there are too big. These will allow it to sit lower, especially in the back, and retain a reasonable steering ability.
TopherMcGinnis Posted November 9, 2024 Author Posted November 9, 2024 Maybe one bar added to each side is all the grille needs. 1
David G. Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 It looks like you're converting the Hudson into a Mercury. David G.

Can-Con Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 (edited) I'd suggest adding some sort of bodywork surround to the grille opening to smooth it off. Like what a Mercury has to give it a more "finished" look, maybe even use parts from a Mercury. The AMT '49 Ford coupe and '50 convertible both have custom pieces that could easily be adapted for this. Different year but you get the idea. Edited November 10, 2024 by Can-Con 1
