NOBLNG Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 What does this chassis belong to? It’s a flea market find that someone was trying to put an AMT ‘55 Nomad body on Thanks, Greg.?
Bainford Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Purely a shot in the dark, but maybe the Revell '55 Chevy chassis. I haven't built the Revell Chevy, but the chassis looks like an era-correct Chevy chassis. The bracing looks like it may even be a convertible chassis.

The different spare tire location would make sense. Here it is beside a Revell ‘56 Nomad chassis. And an AMT ‘55 Nomad on the left.
Mark Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 The gunmetal gray plastic points to an early issue Revell-Monogram '55 convertible. I'm pretty sure that the newer tool '56 chassis has a separate gas tank part, to allow for the difference between the '56 sedan and Nomad.
espo Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Based on the cross bracing of the frame would lead you to think this is for a convertible and the front suspension sure looks like maybe the Revell '57 Chevrolet Convertible.
