Started this little project yesterday.

The body started out as a 1966 Olds 442 Convertible That i got a few years ago,and a piece of resin to make this little wagon...........

Gona need some help tho, Cause i need to re-scribe the lines back in and thought some one may have an easyer way of doing it.....

those wheels look like a set I gave you!

Yes they are Irv!! only set i had handy!

I wanted to use the "Arter Rake" ones But they wasnt handy! LOL

You know tho! you may get me switched into using these types of wheels tho! they really do set it off!!!!

pegasus hobbies have a set much like those.

correct me if im wrong, but i think that style is called american racing.

Not to push another publication here, but we all do read more than one mag I'm sure. The Oct 2006 issue of ScaleAuto has an article on almost the same subject, they made a two door wagon from four door. Has very good directions on scribing door lines and the details.

In my opinion those lines should be scribed specially if the color will be light, nothing beats the look of a model with every line scribed. I use the back of a number 11 x-acto blade to do this with a lot of patience specially if it is a resin body, don't force the blade at any moment just let it do it's job and after you are done before and after priming just fill the lines with testors exhaust buffing metalizer, once you touch those lines capillary action will draw the paint right into the scribed lines. Prime the body at the end again and once you start painting I am positive you will like the results :wink:
