Just got in a trade

Hi all. I just got a Revell 1968 Firebird 2n1 kit in a trade. I am strongly considering building the drag version. That being said can anyone please advise on where to source the proper rear drag tires for it? As always help is always appreciated. Thank you.

What kind/class of drag car you want to build will dictate the tires you need. Is it a vintage racer? Dragster? Super Comp dragster or Top Fuel? Stock Class racer or Pro Stock? I'm not trying to be snarky, or anything, it's just that all those things determine what will be your proper slicks.?

Thanks for the reply. Kind of similar to this. It's the same kit as this one.

If you need tires to fit the kit wheels they come in the 90 LX Mustang and all of the 57 Fairlane and wagon gasser kits. I also thing they're in the 69 Nova street machine version.

I would second Brian's suggestions. There were some AMT Parts Packs that had some that would have worked, as well (after cleaning off the sidewall printing), but they're hard-to-find, and expensive!

Check the tires in the kit. Built one a few years ago and it had slicks and traction bars in the kit.
