Ed Cole used his experience from Cadillac to improve the design of the Chevy V8 and look what happened! It's a beautiful piece of engineering. I am fortunate here in the UK to own one and I often look at it and in awe, what a design. 1

Straightliner59 Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 It's drag racing's all-time winningest engine. Obviously, not in the pro classes, but, across the board. It led to more than a few drag racing fans referring to some classes as "AFC Racing." "Another BLAH-BLAH-BLAH Camaro"!? 1
