leafsprings Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 (edited) An AMT 1960 body with a Revell '64 chassis to get a correct '63 C 10. Not an easy integration, but did not want to use torsion bars on a '63. The grill and hood are resin pieces. Period western type mirrors are from Rookie Resin. Got as close as possible to original factory interior and engine colors. 16" tires and wheels are from a 40's Chevy pickup kit. Cab color is Rust oleum safety green. Bed railing is custom made and extra accessories added to get the Dept. of Forestry theme. The fleet is growing. Edited November 24, 2024 by leafsprings 11
espo Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 The paint colors look dead on. Like how you added all of the gear in the bed as well. 1
ncbuckeye67 Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 That's amazing! Your research and scratch-building, brought about something very nicely detailed. I would not have known about the suspension differences. 1
