Just a warning here- If you want to slap one of those AMT or MPC stickers included with recent Round 2 releases on your car, be advised they don't hold up too well against rain. Mine has been on my back window less than a week and the red is nearly gone! Looks like I'll be protecting the next one from the elements when this one peels off!

I was really upset when this happened. I thought when I saw them that it was a great way to "fly the flag" as it were. Hving the AMT sticker on my window lhelped me to find out a new friend was a modeler as well.

Round 2: Please make the stickers from VINYL!!!!!!!!!!

I doubt they thought people were going to put them on their cars. I'm sure what they had in mind was for them to be stuck on desks, cabinets & what have you.

I like modeling but I'll be if I'm junking up my car by plastering stickers all over it. I hate seeing cars with muliple stickers all over them.

My car is "junked up" without the stickers, thank you sir! My idea was to "fly the flag" for the new AMT, and make my rusty, crusty '98 Mercury Tracer (a.k.a. T-Racer) easier to find in parking lots next to all the other rusty, crusty '97-up Tracers and 'Scorts. I'd never sticker up a sweet little Coug' like what you have!

I don't sticker up my "nice" cars, but for my daily beater- jeesh, the stickers are about all that's holding it together at this point! Eleven years, three hundred thousand miles, thousands of tons of mud and salt and bird poop (and an indifferent wash/wax routine), three dead deer and one dead Saturn! One of these days I'm going to open a door and the thing's just gonna fold up like a futon!

Fellas, I am part owner of a sign shop and we make weatherproof decals all the time. If i went ahead and made MODEL CARS decals and maybe just charged a buck each, would that be ok? Id need permission from the Magazine to do this, but i would do it if they said i could. I can also do the AMT sticker in vinyl too.

This reminds me of an AMT bumper sticker I had years ago...said something like 'I LOVE (heart logo) Model Cars'. Had it on my '86 Mustang LX up till it was totalled. It was vinyl and weather proof, IIRC.
