Hi everyone,

it's finally finished! After I had over done the truck and changed it from a not even mediocre RV to a better looking tanker I felt obliged to add a trailer!

To make a long story short, here it is: Enjoy!

Jürgen very nice finish and unique rig. It looks like it could be rolling on the Roads of Canada or Alaska to me. Your hard work and labor paid off Congratulations on your build.

Thanks Jeff!

I wasn't really satisfied with the camper either! It did have a few nice details but it looked a bit .... !

Otherwise I would have never changed it!

I'm really happy about it now and I appreciate your great feedback!

That's really something you can be proud of Jürgen, it's unique. Great work. Each new build just gets better as you build on what you've learnt. It's obviously the future.

You live in Alaska?

No I live in Missouri in the Foothills of the Ozarks. I just like the Canadian and the northern territories looking trucks this one just kinda reminds me of them.

even more of your feedback.

You deserve it it’s a great looking rig and you put a lot of time and work into it. One more thing thanks for the inspiration for me  to build a tanker rig in 1/43 scale I appreciate it.

That's a beautiful region too! I lived outside of Chicago!

I’ve pulled many of Sea Containers out of there going to the border of Southern Illinois and Kentucky. No offense I don’t like Chicago.

Didn't like it that much either to be honest!

I love how this turned out! It looks completely authentic- ready to pull in to a gas station and refill the underground tanks. I especially like how that trailer turned out- a perfect match for the truck.Well done!

Now my work space is cleared and ready for my next project!

I'll be building my show case now and hope I can begin "showing off" some models in it soon!

I guess sometime around end of January I can slowly start building the next truck! Don't know how long it will take to get the glass doors and shelves done. I'm having those made by a company near by!

Since I posted this one in "WIP" I might as well complete this thread with a last pic of the new bumper!

I am, by the way, aware of the fact that not all details are authentic for a tanker truck such as the high stacks for example.

Still I will leave it that way cause that's the way I imagined it before I started!

Thanks all again for following and for your great feedback.

Merry Christmas everyone! 🎄🧑‍🎄

Thanks very much Ron!

Sorry it took me so long to answer! 😊
