You guys been asking, so here it is, another full custom where I break all the rules again. I have full custom front and rear fenders ordered, two different sets of custom wheels, lowered rear suspension, will build the lowered air front suspension and most importantly Chopped Top cab. I have been collecting parts for a while but was unsure of what truck to build, when I found the cab in my stash, decision made. It will be a little time before I start it as I wait for parts.

To new, I  opt for the Caterpillar C-15. You just can't bet that big cat power. Rroooaarr!

Semi Casual do some amazing stuff. I was watching them on YouTube. Don't like all of it but they have amazing attention to detail. The potential on this is endless!

Wow Gary lovin these builds you have going. A 1693 cat, a twin turbo 475hp 855 cummins or kt Cummins would be big power for the era and right at home with that 67-72 359.

Agree, it would need a motor that makes a statement.  gonna hold off on this build a bit, want to find a chassis/frame where the suspension is not molded to the frame rails. Still looking for something.

Hey Gary

Have you checked out the cool Pete tanks from Casey at Model Truck Builders. He has several sizes plus he has hood swans.

Ron G

I have not, but thanks for the tip, will check them out.

They are really great tanks. I think they would be a good fit for your custom Pete. I'm using a pair on my Alberta oilfield bed truck build.

Actually, there are several items that caught my eye, could use a set of battery boxes for my KW 925 build.

Hey Gary

Those are nice, but my only complaint is the sides are a bit thick. They are large, and a good fit for a KW 925.

Thank you Ron for the tip, received the parts from Moldel Truck Builders Forum. The front fenders are perfect fit, also picked up the cab skirts which should add to the lowered look I want to go for.
