Belugawrx Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Finally got Jimmy's pickem up truck done...after 2 failed paint jobs and robbing 3 kits of their chrome bits... I was in such a rush to complete it, I didn't really get any good close ups of it ,...anyway, here ya go This is the real truck with Jaguar frost blue paint Paint is Craftsmart from Micheal's thinned and shot through airbrush, and 3 coats of Duplicolor Acrylic Enamel clear. The front spears on the hood are thin strips of evergreen BMF'd Thanks Jason (68shortfleet) for the '41 dash ..and Duane Garner for the banjo steering wheel 👍 4
Zippi Posted January 30 Posted January 30 I think you did a bang up job on Jimmy's pickup Bruce. Looks pretty dang close to me. 1

espo Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Beautiful reproduction of your friend's pickup. I like how you recreated the hood trim. 1
