Hey all,,just clearing some kits from the shelves to make room for new builds  as this AMT  Cal Drag combo  kit  goes up.   Rattlecan Tamiya  +  Testors spray.  scratch built tire rack.   Added  header collectors on ends of headers.  Roll bar padding on roll bar.  tach on dash. Aftermarket rear tires.  Fuel rails on intake manifold.   Mounted distributor at back of motor,,looks a bit less cluttered in the engine bay,,I know  its not 'correct" for a real 427  but thats ok.   Finally got an indoor spray booth to use,,makes all the sub assemblies faster to pc together,,paint ect.   Nice kit,,but a bit campy  to put together,,but nothing a dremmel cant fix. Enjoy your builds ,,and theyll enjoy you..  Cheers     S

Very cool drag combo...Awesome build.

Thanks much guys..always enjoy folks builds here.   This kit went together ok,,there were some leveling issues with the chassis/interior  matchup  but I put a couple of lift shims between the chassis and interior,,and got it all level. Thanks for lookin!

Pretty sharp looking build there Scott.  I bought this kit a couple years ago at Wally World and ended up trading it for an old drag car.

Thanks so much folks,,you all build great stuff also!!   Gotta go to Mid-Mi Motorplex this summer to get the real deal drag scene   Thinkin about getting a 1:1   project car for my real garage..  Maybe a PS  Pinto for street.    Bob Gliddens  PS Pinto from the 70's  is in a warehouse  in Yipsilanti   Mi not too far from here where I live.,,saw it one night when my buddy was getting stuff out of storage  ,,,not sure who owns it,,but was fun to see it up close.   Build on!!
