That is amazing. I just picked up a '37 Ford pickup and my plans are to graft a '36 nose onto it. We have the technology...

Roger did another kitbash that I've always liked............

I was looking through his profile to find the link......Man, he really has left a very creative, clean, and classy legacy here! We really are at a loss............

I started one years ago using the IMC / Testors / Union '48 body and the AMT '41 wagon nose, with this 2001 real-car build as inspiration.

I never considered the IMC kit to be worth doing a straight build, but it's a natural for a chopped custom, though the opening doors make it more of a challenge.

Got to the mockup yeah-this'll-work stage and quit, as usual.

Nice roofline and forward-swept B-pillar on the real car though...

Somewhere along the line I picked up a nicely made resin sedan delivery conversion too (unknown maker, possibly All American Models).

anyone here actually tried this one

Not yet but I have wanted to for a while and I keep getting closer to doing it. Got the 41 and I have a 48 body that someone poorly started sanding the detail off. I need to find a clean, fresh 48 body first.

This is another one of those threads I wish I hadn't looked at 'cause now you guys have me wanting to build one and who has the time. Just discovered I have the '48 Custom which was in my selling pile because the front of that kit just looks so hideous. Have a few of the '41 Woodies so I just may have to dive in. Thanks a lot😵
