I remember the old Good Humor ice cream trucks from my childhood and thought they were cool looking. After studying a few pics I started this one. It came from a 1940 Ford delivery that I used the rear delivery body part for another build. I had the cab and the chassis left and it fit the bill perfectly. I extended the cab slightly and scratch built the box from sheet styrene and tubing. Then I removed the cab roof but left the windshield frame. I'm not sure about the color yet. I know the usual color is white but I need it to be different. I think I'm going with the wheels in the last picture.

Thanks for looking and I hope you like it.

All constructive criticism welcome.

More to come.

Dave

Cool build so far David. I’m with Topher above 👆, I was thinking Tamiya light pearl red, which is metallic pink. Will you print some ice cream logo decals for it? That would be cool…
