Thank you so much Daniel, coming from you it really means a lot. Am I not looking in the right place but I don't see a thread from you at the moment.

I'm over in the regular cars section. I'm building a Porsche 914 for my neighbor across the hall. He did me a huge favor, so I asked him what his favorite car is, and that's what he said, so, here we are!🙂 It's coming along pretty decently, so far.

NOT DONE, waiting for decals (no ETA) and clear coat, also front bunper guards, parachutes and mounts and bare-metal covers for front and rear bumpers.

The Prospector funnycar is headed to the back burner for now, as the final decals for the 55 Thunderbird are now available, and after a marathon battle with USPS and Canada post lasting the  better part of six weeks and is still not fully resolved, I have what I need to finish the body. Then will come final assembly on the Thunderbird and on the Prospector funnycar as well.  It has really been a long haul on this project

Great job Ian awesome build, It seems to me that we have enough of a challenge in this hobby without the postal service getting involved!

There's a French expression that says: Everything comes to those who wait!  I don't know if it translates word for word, but I imagine you see what I mean! 😉

Thank you Francis, Yes dealing with USPS has alwys been interesting, but add in this Canada Post nonsence and the costs involved, it is becoming increasingly, just not worth the the effort. It's so much easier to print (or machine / scratch build) your own parts or even produce custom decals in all but the most extreme cases, (Girl Trouble).  It's too bad as I would really like to do business with some of the extremely talented people out there but I just can't justify the costs involved (both monitarily and time wise).
