Is there anyway to reset your password. I tried several times and could not get it to go through. So I had to register a new account to use the forum. Is there any way to access my old account. to Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes, one of the admins (probably @Dave Ambrose ) should be able to help you out.  They are busy but they should respond within few days.

If you know your user name, which part of the password reset was not "coming through"?  The only thing the procedure requires is your email address and checks if you are nto a robot.  Your login name is now also your email address (not the screen name).  Is it possible that you no longer use the email address registered with the forum?

Yes, like Peter suggested above, try logging in with your original email address used when you first registered here.

Failing that, send me a PM with your original username. Let me see if I can get this sorted for you.

When you log in, there should be a "Forgot Password" link in the login dialog. That will get you a reset email sent to the email address we have for you. We run into problems when people change their email addresses and don't update their info in the forum.

We can fix that my merging the two accounts, and updating the original one with the correct email address.

Did that. Never had a response. My email has not changed.

I'll ask the obvious (since you didn't mention it):  After you followed the password reset process (expecting an email in the email account tied to your forum account), did you check the SPAM folder for the password reset email?

Yes I did.
