A lot of old school modeling went into this little 30" x 40" layout. Most of the 1:87 scale automobiles are resin and  painted by me. The buildings are kit bashed, painted and detailed. The trolleys are modified off the shelf items, but the freight motor was a used diesel switcher model before I modified it for trolley line service. The trolley line wire poles are soldered brass rod, the trolley wire is electrified and the ar  trolley poles collect current. My first attempt at model railroading after a lifetime of model cars. It was a lot of fun !

Good LORD man!! I missed this one for SURE! I mean........everywhere you look there's just more and more details to see in this whole layout. This is some very exceptional modeling in this scale Jon. My hat goes off to you for pulling off such a masterful creation bud. WOW!!

Thank you, I really enjoyed doing it. One of my 1st retirement projects plus mostly done during the 1st Covid outbreak. I've always loved model railroading but never attempted anything until this layout. It was built sitting on our guest bedroom bed and my model bench.
