A colleague of mine just retired and when he was younger he had two Challengers. For a retirement gift I thought I would build replicas of his cars. He had sent me some pictures so I tried to replicate them. The T/A was unusual: dark green metallic exterior with green interior. I got a Revell Streetburner kit open box and a Challenger R/T glue bomb on EBAY. I built the kit OOB and modified the R/T by filling in the hood hole, repainting it and making a single four barrel intake. I detailed both and put heater hoses, battery cables and plug wires on the T/A. I also added an Accell coil because his car had one. The pink car is what I started with.stevegreen2.jpg.0367610067c072a23dac0a2d74d45d67.jpg

What a great gift for your friend's retirement.  Both builds look great and cleanly built.
