BIGTRUCK Posted yesterday at 03:01 PM Posted yesterday at 03:01 PM (edited) I was going to build this kit but backed off to do another kit but will come back around to this one. Its the only older cheaper simpler kit I came across that has real rubber tires and not the 2pc normal plastic. Kit claims to be 1/24th. The chrome survived perfectly but almost 100% of the green parts were detached , I put them near just for the picture. Decals would have been nice but these are yellowed pretty bad. Instruction sheet was done well especially showing kits Hawk had to offer.. and those prices.. The original kit was called "Dragin' Wagon"in 1959 when many kits were motorized and reissued as unmotorized Slinger in '61. Edited yesterday at 03:01 PM by BIGTRUCK 3

Kenmojr Posted yesterday at 04:38 PM Posted yesterday at 04:38 PM What an interesting kit. I have the HAWK 1/4 scale Hemi A990 race engine kit to build. Picked it up close to 20 years ago at Marden's in Bangor, Maine.
Beans Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago That's a cool kit!! I really have to branch out more. That is gonna be awesome.
