Maisto made a 1:24 diescast Wrangler Unlimited 4 door, but AFAIK, there is no kit of this vehicle in plastic.

This Meng kit would likely be the best starting point to make a 4 door out of? scalemates has the instructions for the Meng kit.

accademy kits have bad box art but look to build up nice

Academy does a lot of armor and plane kits.  I didn't even know they did 1/24 scale kits.  All the armor kits I have built from them are good.  Good details, good fit.  No issues.

I have their Hyundai Santa Fe. It is a very nice kit, kind of like an unassembled promo. My only complaint is there is almost no tolerance for paint thickness. I had to do a bit of filing on the body and the fender lips to get it to fit together. I expect the Wrangler is similar.
