shoopdog Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Finished this awesome kit several weeks ago but just got some outdoor pics today. Another fun build from Tamiya for sure. Paint is ModelFlex Field Drab airbrushed with just a wee bit of weathering. Im going to keep working on my weathering which I think will be a huge improvement, not really my forte. Thanks for looking and any helpful hints or comments are certainly welcome. 4
Belugawrx Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Looks pretty good Keith...have you watched any of Night Shift on YouTube..? He does some amazing weathering, and explains it all along the way... Nice job on the Sherman! 1

stavanzer Posted May 4 Posted May 4 (edited) Fabulous Sherman. Those older Tamiya Tank kits build well. Yours looks very good. Aside from war, most Army tanks are really kept as clean as is possible. The Army frowns on dirty equipment. So, the weathering you have done is about perfect to my eye. Looks like a Tank out on an exercise. Good Show. Edited May 8 by stavanzer spelling 1
mustang1989 Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Now THAT'S one good-looking paint and subtle weathering job on your Sherman Keith. You've captured the look of a well-worn color coat very well. You can't go wrong with a Tamiya kit either. Good work. 1
