junkyardjeff Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Well I actually need a 351-M but a Cleveland looks close enough, Trying to build a 78 F-150 I had years ago and it had that 351-M.

They can pass as a Cleveland with a little work. Other than the ones mentioned, you can use the Revell '76 Torino block and add the Nascar heads. The crappy Revell kit has essentially a Cleveland block but uses Windsor heads. On a different note, I wish they had taken as much care creating the Torino as they did on the Mach I. junkyardjeff Posted May 13 Author Posted May 13 I do not think I have any Cleveland parts but do have a unfinished Ford NASCAR type race car I can check but really want a stock engine with no shiny parts.
rattle can man Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Cleveland heads on a Windsor block has been done by engine builders, but it involves a lot of modification. I think Hot Rod had a story on it.

The Firefighter Mustang II pro stock has a windsor engine, but plain steel (chromed) Cleveland valve covers rather than the aluminum ones that are in the NASCAR kits and boss 351 Mustang. I might be able to hook you up with the parts to make a Cleveland
mk11 Posted Thursday at 09:48 PM Posted Thursday at 09:48 PM The reissued amt '78/'79 Bronco has a 351M in it with a C6 automatic.
