The GAZ M-20 "Pobeda"(Victory) was build in the USSR between 1946 - 1958. The Design was influenced by the 1941 Chevrolet Fleetline and the 1948 Opel Kapitän. After the production start in 1946 with 23 hand built cars the production was hold in 1948  to solve the quality issues on the car. In 1949 the production starts again, but again the quality was poor. After 235,999 units the production ends.

I looked up a car it reminded me of. It wasn't. I tried another that it also wasn't, but despite that, there it was. 😁
