Terry Jessee Posted May 17 Posted May 17 1970 Kaiser-Jeep M54A2 5-ton convoy security truck from AFV Club. This is the base cargo truck kit with a scratchbuilt Vietnam gun box. The simple box was built from various sheets of Evergreen styrene. And a Tamiya M113. The "Cambodian Jungle Buster" was part of a drug interdiction program on the Cambodian border with Vietnam also in 1970. 7 1
stavanzer Posted May 18 Posted May 18 Awesome Guntruck, & Track! You nailed the details & the weathering. Good Show.
stavanzer Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Now, we have to get you and Warren D. in the same room with your builds!
Dragline Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Don't know why I didn't speak up sooner. These are really nicely done Terry. Your weathering skills are up there and certainly something I can learn from. The armor guys vids on YouTube have helped me in my own endeavors to make things look used.
bamadon Posted May 20 Posted May 20 Great job on those. Is that 2 different APCs or change in markings?

One funny thing I learned--the "Jungle Buster" markings on the actual APC were applied with shaving cream just for a photo. Gotta have fun where you can...
