Oldriginal86 Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Even on the 1:1 Camaros the headers needed to be laid in the frame first then the engine set in. 2

Valvefloat Posted Monday at 12:16 AM Author Posted Monday at 12:16 AM No primer scuffed with 1200 sanding sponge The ones on the roof covered with multiple coats
Shark Posted Monday at 12:42 AM Posted Monday at 12:42 AM You might try clearing it and then polish out 1

As for sanding, if the paint isn't cured,it could end up causing you grief. I always prime for a few reasons, one to fill any fine scratches/blemishes, like a liquid body filler, and two adhesion. There is only the body line on that hood, maybe another LIGHT coat will flow out and cover. I wouldn't spray the whole car. Hopefully this helps man.👍👍. Edited Monday at 12:45 AM by johnyrotten
Valvefloat Posted Monday at 12:59 AM Author Posted Monday at 12:59 AM Ill buy another can tomorrow I have the rear stripes on and will leave them to dry then trim them and do the clearcoat then do the trim with a silver sharpie. I found the "chrome"oil paint pens stay wet for days and smear easy even if you clear it or not so I use a sharpie. I may buy a can of Tamiya grey primer too. 1

Why are camaro stripes two different widths front and back?
Valvefloat Posted 23 hours ago Author Posted 23 hours ago (edited) 1000 grit, then 3000 grit took the scratches out. Now a respray👍 Edited 23 hours ago by Valvefloat 3
