Andria H Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Rusty "barn fresh" early attempt at a coupe utility, based on the good old Monogram kit with a junk small block under the hood and an all stock interior in ragged shape. This took me roughly a week to get done and required a '39 coupe gluebomb for a donor body and a few other greeblies & doodads. 4
espo Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Love the crusty looking finish. Is the gas filler on fire or just an old red shop towel for a cap? Like how you used the pickup box for the trunk.
bbowser Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Nice weathering work. Looks like its roamed the backroads of Georgia with all the red clay! 1

Ace-Garageguy Posted July 1 Posted July 1 Very authentic. I'm old enough to remember when low-pay blue-collar workers...handymen, groundskeepers, landscapers, etc...actually drove and worked out of cars and trucks that looked that rough. They always had a couple of lifters ticking and left a trail of thin blue smoke and slowly dripping fluids, but they ran and ran and ran. 1
