Dragline Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Everyone's favorite hearse. Nothing fancy here. OOB build. I need to gild the side sconces but since they pop in and out I've been in no hurry. They require a steady hand and gold paint to finish. I have both but have yet to tackle them. It's done for now. 12
VanGoGo Posted June 29 Posted June 29 looks great!...boggles my mind that I built that 50 years ago 0.0 1

redscampi Posted Tuesday at 09:48 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:48 PM This has always been one of my favorites. Well done! On the sconces: Perhaps use a paint pen for the gilding? Maybe also mask the "glass" and trim it with a very sharp blade. Just some random thoughts. 1

I'll be going with the masking idea. Aircraft builders do it all the time with excellent results. I watched a couple of tutorials and it looks like a winner. 1
Big John Posted Wednesday at 05:04 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:04 PM Very nice OOB with some great weathering. I remember, which is a feat now days, when the original care was featured in Rod & Custom mag. It was so cool that I just had to rush out and buy the kit. Thanks for the flash back. 1
