The Modeling Hermit Posted July 13 Posted July 13 This is the completion of the first shop that I've built since moving back to Iowa. The premise is that it was originally built in 1873 as a newspaper publishing structure. Over many decades is has evolved into a classic car repair building. I learn a lot form each garage that I build, but from this one, I learned a lot of things not to do, and a lot of things to do in order. There were way too many times when I had to play contortionist, for things that I could have done easily at the bench, in an earlier construction period. 6 1

Jim Dodson Posted Thursday at 05:20 PM Posted Thursday at 05:20 PM The patinaed finishes on the structure had me initially thinking these were reference photos! Excellent work. Well done!
Bills72sj Posted Friday at 04:13 AM Posted Friday at 04:13 AM The pizza boxes in the trash is a nice touch. You do seem to have a pretty high female count for an auto shop. Great detail throughout.
