Ferrari F40 IMSA Italeri 1/24

[1959scudetto]

Finally finished this one: started around 1990 and finished it today.

Mostly box stock apart from some detailing.

In comparison with its civilian brother (also Italeri):

Looks great Helmut, I was lucky and saw it run at Mosport IIRC it finished 2nd.

What about the naca duct intake in the center of the hood, did you do that yourself? It‘s not included in the kit‘s body, right?

Lucky guy, I have only seen photos of it online.

Exactly my words, Dave - though I also do have the later F50 and Enzo kits in my stash, I find them not as esthetically pleasing as the F40.

Correct, Thomas, I cut it into the body with a hobby knife.
