This is my new build, I have just started laying things out.  I hope to get some bench time tomorrow so I can get the engine sub assemblies together and paint, and detail. Then will mount engine (soft mount) and then start the work on body mods to get it to sit over the engine.

Will be slow going, since I am gonna try some new things. (Not chopping this build, but doing a chop build of this kit once I get another kit is on the forecast.)

Will update as I can.

This will be a nice build Michael.   I picked up the Coupe and Delivery just the other day at the hobby shop.  I'll be checking in on this build.

Thanks sir! When you start yours I will follow as well. I like seeing others building the same kit with wild or subtle changes.

I have the coupe, and going to do a sleeper lowrider, big tunnel ram and white walls almost on the ground.

I have the Delivery on the way, and gonna gasser it.  I have yet to decide if it's gonna be a blown gasser or a nice dual carb gasser.

Your plans for these kits is right down my alley.  Don't know when I'll be building mine.

These kits are a delight to build! and that engine that you'll have left over (the factory one) would be awesome in some sort of hot rod............  B)

Yeah I was looking at it, and thanks for the tip!  I do have a few 30's model fords, and hey Hot Rodding is shoving stuff in non traditional rides!  So it works!

Looking forward to this. You've got the formula for an all business hotrod. I have the same engine for my Nova wagon,it's a very nice piece, you'll be happy.

Gonna do flat black body, Light gun metal frame, interior is a toss up between pearl white or metallic orange (I want a nice color pop between interior/body, some small details will be light gun metal and interior color to tie it all together.

Thanks! When I first saw these coming back, I had started a plan on what I wanted to do with all 3 versions.

Love these kits. Shopping yesterday when I found this kit on the shelf locally, unfortunately I had already blown my budget before I found it. Next week maybe.

I got the Coupe and Aerosedan locally. The panel is from another seller that has a small shop. Not local but mom n pop.

Well I may of bit off more than I can chew.. nah... got a little bench time and waiting on primer for the block and other parts so I can paint em before assembly and then will work on fitting everything into the engine bay of this big ole beasty.

Here's a single pic for now.

572 block, heads, and transmission just hanging out in between the frame rails.

A little work on this ole gal tonight.

There is a few parts for the 57 Fairlane for the wife on the one with the turbo parts.  Once they dry it's a bit of detailing. (I will pull up the TT engine I saw to help with what to paint as well.

Yeah I have to get the dremel out and fix some of the roughness of cutting out I did. I will likely have to cut more and build back once I get the TT put together.  (And there is a good shot I will have to build a custom front suspension.)

All part of the fun. Change one thing, nine others pop up. In the end that engine will look awesome in there. 👍👍

Yeah, and I know once I get past the engine install, the rest is easy.

Flat black and murdered fully out!  And stock ride height :) I will throw some color in the interior but not sure what yet.

Look forward to more on your project...

Bench time is light but I am puttering a bit each night, I will be taking some pics tonight, of the fender work I did. Found I have to do a bit more shaping, to get things to settle. Also looking like I get to massage somethings like crazy to get it to fit. I have yet to do a test fit with the engine assembled, but doing fits as I go, so I don't over remove material.

Some hard core grinding, and even did a little frame massaging. Gonna be fun tucking things into this bay.

Have to figure out the radiator once I get the motor/trans set into place.  After that then it's a pretty straight forward build.
