Mothersworry Posted Saturday at 12:56 PM Posted Saturday at 12:56 PM (edited) An original kit that I got from Stoners Hobby Shop in Wyandotte Michigan back in the day, late sixties maybe early seventies. The TV camera is a quite fairly accurate replica of an RCA TK-11A circa 1952. Made a few changes to the camera and the lane lights. WXYZ-TV is channel 7 in the Detroit area, also the "D.D.W." on the fire extinguisher refers to Detroit Drag Way...RIP. Edited Saturday at 07:00 PM by Mothersworry 6
TonyK Posted Saturday at 01:05 PM Posted Saturday at 01:05 PM Very nice work on everything, especially the camera.
meechum68 Posted Saturday at 05:42 PM Posted Saturday at 05:42 PM Very cool! Now ya gotta do the Diorama!
Jim B Posted Sunday at 01:06 AM Posted Sunday at 01:06 AM Very nice. Well done. That camera looks great.
plasticprime Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Terrific job on the camera! It was a monochrome, single tube, image-orthicon camera. Misty moons ago when I was in production, we had color Ikegami HL-79As which were 3-tube plumbicons. Even after we had transitioned to 3-chip Sony cameras, some clients preferred the old Ikegamis for their rendering of flesh tones.
