junkyardjeff Posted July 29 Posted July 29 More parts found so along with the coupe this one is getting built, this one and the coupe are getting built with parts and paint I have in stock and not going to run to eBay for missing parts. Not much detail and quick build while I come inside to cool off on these hot days, engine is going to be the optional Olds engine with injection. 5

espo Posted Wednesday at 08:56 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:56 PM That old black plastic from that era will polish up nice, if that's what you're after.
junkyardjeff Posted Wednesday at 09:50 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 09:50 PM Unfortunately there are dents on the roof from too much glue with the windows so I am going to leave it as it is,I would have liked to get it apart to do more detail but the interior is really glued in.and almost got thrown in the trash as it would have broken trying to get it apart. Did not have the heart to trash since it's 60 years old so it's going back together as found, the numbers on the doors are not the correct class as I am building it but it's going to stay.
meechum68 Posted Wednesday at 11:02 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:02 PM Looking good sir! I like the look of it, gives me 100% barn find feel! 1
junkyardjeff Posted yesterday at 12:02 AM Author Posted yesterday at 12:02 AM It's going to be far from perfect but will still look like it was built in the 60s. 1

dust collectors Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago The dents on the roof look kind of cool, like it was a low buck drag car from back in the day.
