GM Ermine White

What is a good paint match for GM Ermine White?

I'm guessing that you are asking about a color in a hobby spray paint, looking at a picture of Ermine White online it says it is a creamy white color.  You might want to check out Tamiya TS7 Racing White (check out the attached pic I found online comparing Racing White to Pure White).  Another option, but it is a little more costly is some online auto touch-up paint suppliers can sell the actual color code in a spray can.  I've seen it on the website automotivetouchup.com: https://www.automotivetouchup.com/spray-paint/spray_paint_matched.aspx

If you don't mind using an airbrush, sites like Scalefinishes or MCW Finishes offer the exact color in a small pre-thinned bottle.  I've bought from Scalefinishes a lot and he is a great guy to deal with.

Tamiya Racing White looks real close, and I'd prefer to use Tamiya.

 Tamiya TS-26 Pure White is what I would suggest. i know its a Ford, but this is what that color looks like.

Duplicolor has something called "Universal White" that is very close to that. It's between a true white and their Wimbledon White which I think is too creamy.

IF you airbrush I'd suggest mixing the Tamiya racing and pure white 50/50. I think that would get you close. 

I used the racing white on my mast pickup build and in my opinion, it's a bit too dark for the GM white or even the Ford Wimbledon white.

Not related dirt road fun (or not fun) fact: The old Modelmaster Wimbledon White was pretty much the same color (colour) as the Duplicolor 1987 Ford Truck Colonial White that I bought to respray the battery tray in my old Ranger.

Thank you, I only had to strip it 4 times because the paint kept bleeding under the tape or the tape would peel up the white.
