I think this one is just getting new wheels & tires and drop the suspension down. Maybe some upgrades to the engine.
Rattlecan Dan Posted Sunday at 05:07 PM Posted Sunday at 05:07 PM Your nice little tutorial of your work is helpful and gracious of you to share. Thanks for sharing " The Zippi Touch". 1

Zippi Posted Monday at 01:42 PM Author Posted Monday at 01:42 PM I got my wheels & tires painted but now I'm thinking of maybe painting the inner portion of the wheel a Titanium Silver. I'm pretty sure the body is going to be either Metallic Black or Gunmetal. Not sure which one just yet. 3
johnyrotten Posted Monday at 03:20 PM Posted Monday at 03:20 PM That would be a nice contrast for the wheels. 👍👍 1
Cool Hand Posted Monday at 05:07 PM Posted Monday at 05:07 PM Yep, another vote for titanium silver centers. 1
Zippi Posted Monday at 05:28 PM Author Posted Monday at 05:28 PM Alright boys....they do look pretty good. The center caps are chrome. 5
Zippi Posted Monday at 06:21 PM Author Posted Monday at 06:21 PM I went with a Ford blue on the calipers so it gives it that aggressive race look. The rotors are a flat aluminum with chrome dust caps. 5
Cool Hand Posted Tuesday at 04:38 AM Posted Tuesday at 04:38 AM Where are the brake rotors from Bob ??

Not sure where they came from are who. I did have to inlarge the center hole to fit the hub on the back of the wheel.
Nosferatu Posted Tuesday at 01:22 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:22 PM Nice work! I really like what you've done so far! Dave 1

Thats what caught my attention was the larger center hole as I have some wheels with larger than normal hubs and I have yet to find some rotors to suit.

You know what Luke...the resin was a different color so I'm pretty sure I got those from stitchdup here in the forum. The rotors & calipers are one piece.

Zippi Posted Tuesday at 07:27 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 07:27 PM Got the wheels & tires done so I thought a little mock-up was in order to make sure the stance is still where it should be. I'm a happy camper with it. 4
