JerseeJerry55 Posted Thursday at 05:25 PM Posted Thursday at 05:25 PM Just started this AMT '72 C10 I got in a trade. The weather here in Southern NJ has been a lot of hit or miss this Summer. The plan is to make her into the tow vehicle for a local match racer using the C10, the trailer from the Cal Drag Combo set, and the Revell '55 Chevy Bel Air 2n1 kit. On Tuesday the humidity, and temperature combination was kind enough to be cooperative so I laid down the Rustoleum Flat Grey primer. I feel it came out good for the first coat. I was planning on painting the truck either Red & White, or Blue & White. However since the primer came out pretty good, so I may pivot to either the Red, or the Blue with the Grey, and then clear coat it. As far as the Bel Air not quite sure if I go two-tone, or a one color scheme. I do know I'd like to source some Gofer Racing Hometown Sponsor decals and use them, or some from my stash. Have never done a race combo so I feel that this will be a major accomplishment if I can pull it off. 6

Can-Con Posted Thursday at 11:24 PM Posted Thursday at 11:24 PM Primer looks good Jerry. Quick tip with that kit, If you cut the bumper apart from the grille and mount them sepratly they'll both fit better.
